About us

Hi!
We are a bunch of young people from all across Europe. In 2019 we came together to represent our countries at the Safer Internet Forum — a big event held in Brussels. Our role was to provide our personal views on online safety, especially regarding online violence.

The conference was mostly attended by policymakers, industry representatives or educators. However, months prior to the event itself, we've set one big goal — to also reach our peers — young people who have personal experience with online violence.

That is why we have decided to create our Instagram account and started reaching out to people. In about 3 months, we've managed to gain 300 followers and after a year of active posting, we also wanted to present something as a final outcome of our work. We wanted to create something more permanent than an Instagram post.

In the fall of 2020, we started working on a website where we could always make sure to feature updated and relevant information, and go more in depth on all the topics we covered in our social media posts.

Initially, we launched this website in the spring of 2021. After about a year and a half, we felt like it needed another update. We came up with new articles and functions, most of which have already been added by now, and the rest is in the process.

The website received another bigger update in August 2023.
